Extended Day Options

Balanced options beyond the regular school schedule

CMS recognizes that today’s working families need options beyond the traditional academic school schedule. Our Extended Dare program is available for children between the hours of 7:30 am and the start of school, and after school until 5:30 pm.

The program provides a good balance of indoor and outdoor activities.

Care is also available for many of the school’s holidays, including some days during winter break and spring break.

The Extended Day program is available to children who have pre-enrolled, so that we may be sure to have adequate staff at all times. We are only staffed for the registered number of students. The service is not available on an occasional or drop-in basis. To enquire about Extended Day Enrollment on an ongoing basis, contact the Assistant Head of School/COO.

After school extracurricular activities

CMS is proud to offer a variety of after school, extracurricular activities throughout the year for different age groups. These clubs, sports and classes come through local community organizations that enrich students’ schooling and expand their interests. Extracurricular activities are payable to the teacher hosting the lessons.

Students have enjoyed taking Spanish language and culture lessons, learning yoga and Tai Chi, studying the game of chess, participating in tennis and soccer, taking music classes, and more!
